MarketingPlatform: Social Media Sharing and Social Links

Edited

In a campaign, you can add both options for sharing on social media and social links. Social links are the ones you often use in the footer, linking to the company's pages, for example on Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. Social sharing is used if you want to give your contacts the opportunity to share the newsletter on their social profiles.

Social Links and Social Sharing

The functions behind links and sharing look similar, and you have the same options for both functions.

Social Links

You often use social links in the footer so that your contacts can follow your different pages and profiles. For example, go to the footer tab and insert the grid you want to use. Then select social links and drag it over to your grid. The menu will now change to the right, and you will see the different settings for social links.

For example, you can choose:

  • Select type: Choose whether the icon should be round or square.

  • Select size: Choose how big the icon should be displayed.

  • Select icon: Choose which medium you want to add. Press "add" if you have chosen one other than Facebook.

Then you can define whether the icons should be right-aligned, left-aligned, or center-aligned. Right below, you can choose the order of your icons - maybe the most important one should come first or in the middle. It may also be that you only need one icon, and not three as used by default. Then you can delete the extra icons from here. This is also where you insert your own link by clicking on the small chain icon.

Top and right spacing helps you create distance from the other icons both above and around them. Here you can also use padding, as you know from all other elements.
